How the Operational Pool works

Before trading in real mode, read this guide. You'll understand exactly where your deposit goes, how wins and losses are handled, and what keeps the whole platform in balance.

Core concept

The Pool is the shared fund

ClearPool does not work like a traditional broker. There is no external counterpart paying you when you win. Traders' winnings are paid from the Operational Pool — a collective fund fed by all traders' losses on the platform.

A self-funded system

When you lose, your stake enters the Pool. When you win, the Pool pays you. There is no bank or third party — the ecosystem is entirely self-funded by traders' own results.

Sustainability depends on balance

The system stays healthy as long as the collective win rate stays within a certain threshold (around 55–60%). More active traders means a more stable and resilient Pool.

No bank, no counterpart. The Pool is the platform. Every deposit you make contributes to a shared fund that all traders draw from and feed into.
The core rule

82 / 10 / 8

Every trade follows this fixed distribution. The numbers apply only on a win — a loss is always simple: 100% of the stake goes to the Pool.

On a WIN

Example: $10 stake

  • 82%  →  $8.20 to trader
  • 10%  →  $1.00 stays in Pool
  • 8%  →  $0.80 platform management

On a LOSS

Example: $10 stake

  • 100%  →  $10.00 to Pool
  • Pool grows by $10.00

82% — Trader payout
10% — Feeds the Pool
8% — Platform management
Why doesn't the Pool empty? Because even on wins, 10% of the stake stays in the Pool. Combined with losses (100% to Pool), this ensures the system self-funds over time — as long as the collective win rate stays within a threshold of around 55–60%.
Key difference

Operational Pool vs Real Pool

On the platform you see two tabs — Mine and Pool — showing two different views of the same system.

Mine tab

Operational Pool

The Pool value as shown on the platform right now. Includes the effect of your last trade and updates in real time. Shows how much you contributed (loss) or how much the Pool paid you (win).

Pool tab

Real Pool

The actual balance recorded in the database, updated at each settlement. This is the official figure used to calculate the maximum allowed stake. Not real-time.

"In reserve" status — this means the Pool is active but there are no recent real trades to display in the feed. The fund is present and fully operational.
Safety limit

The $10,000 cap

The Real Pool cannot exceed $10,000. This is not a problem — it's a protection designed to keep stakes calibrated to the fund's actual size.

Rule 01

Puntata max = 5% del Real Pool

If the Pool is $1,000, your max stake is $50. If it's $10,000, it's $500. The stake limit scales automatically with the Pool size.

Rule 02

The cap protects everyone

A Pool too large relative to active traders would be unstable. The $10,000 limit keeps the system balanced during the early growth phase of the platform.

Pool in launch phase

The platform is operational but still growing toward the cap. There is ample room for the Pool to grow before any limit is reached.

The cap will rise progressively as the platform grows in traders and volume.
Summary

Before you deposit

Five things you need to understand before trading in real mode.

Il mio deposito alimenta il Operational Pool — non va in un conto personale separato.

If I lose a trade, 100% of the stake goes to the Pool. If I win, the Pool pays me 82% of the stake.

The "Mine" tab shows the real-time effect of my last trade. The "Pool" tab shows the aggregated real balance, updated at settlement.

My maximum stake is 5% of the Real Pool. The Real Pool has a current cap of $10,000.

"In reserve" means the Pool is active — there are simply no recent real trades to display in the live feed.
